Laser hair removal uses light absorbed by pigment in the hair to heat the follicle and reduce future growth. Because hairs move through different growth stages, treatment is a series of appointments rather than a single visit.

Your specialist provides instructions for your skin and treatment area. Individual assessment includes risks such as burns and pigment changes.

Before your visit

  • Tell us about medications, pregnancy, skin conditions, recent treatments, and any change in your health before your appointment.
  • Avoid tanning and tell your specialist about recent sun exposure or sunburn. An appointment may need to be rescheduled.
  • Avoid waxing, plucking, and other methods that remove the root before your series. Follow your specialist’s instructions for when to shave.
  • Arrive with clean skin on the treatment area. We will give you specific guidance on products to pause and when to restart them.

After your treatment

  • Temporary redness or swelling around the follicles may occur. Ask your specialist what is expected for your treatment and when to contact us.
  • Protect treated skin from the sun and follow the sunscreen and skin-care guidance provided at your visit.
  • Follow your aftercare instructions on exercise, heat, exfoliation, and products. Contact us if a reaction concerns you.

How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
A series of treatments is needed because hair grows in cycles. The number and spacing depend on the area, hair color and thickness, skin characteristics, and your response. Your consultation is where we outline an initial plan; your specialist can adjust it as treatment progresses.
Does laser hair removal work on darker skin tones?
The Soprano Titanium platform offers treatment options for a range of skin tones. Suitability still requires an individual assessment, appropriate settings, and a review of recent sun exposure. We discuss your skin, history, and any concerns before recommending treatment.
What about blonde, gray, red, or white hair?
Laser relies on pigment in the hair, so light or low-pigment hair may respond poorly or be unsuitable. We assess your hair in person and can discuss electrolysis if laser is not a good match.
Is laser hair removal uncomfortable?
Sensation varies by person and treatment area. The Soprano Titanium uses gradual heating and contact cooling; you may still feel warmth or a prickling sensation. Tell your specialist how the treatment feels so they can respond appropriately.
Will all of my hair be gone permanently?
Complete, permanent removal of every hair is not a realistic promise. Laser is used to reduce unwanted hair growth. Regrowth and maintenance needs vary with the treatment, area, hair characteristics, and factors such as hormones.
How much does laser hair removal cost at Lotus?
Unlimited full-body laser is $199/month on a 12-month plan ($2,388 over 12 monthly payments), $250/month on a 6-month plan ($1,500 over 6 monthly payments), or $365 month-to-month. Every plan covers any and all areas and renews automatically until cancelled. Appointment spacing follows your individual treatment plan. Your consultation and spot test are free; ask about individual areas and session packages, too.
Can I have treatment if I have been in the Florida sun?
Tell us about any recent sun exposure, tanning, or sunburn before your visit. Your specialist will assess whether treatment should proceed or be postponed and give you sun-protection guidance. A tan should never be assumed to be safe to treat.
