How the laser works
How Soprano Titanium laser technology works
Laser hair removal uses light absorbed by hair pigment to heat the follicle and reduce growth. The Soprano Titanium offers different applicators and delivery modes; the proposed approach should be explained as part of your treatment plan.
Read Alma’s product overviewThree wavelengths
The Trio applicator combines 755, 810, and 1064 nm light. These are wavelengths produced by diode technology—not three separate Alexandrite, diode, and Nd:YAG laser systems.
ICE Plus contact cooling
A cooled contact surface works against the skin during treatment. Cooling supports the experience; it does not mean treatment is risk-free or that everyone will feel the same sensation.
Gradual energy delivery
SHR in-motion uses repeated passes to build heat gradually. The appropriate applicator, mode, settings, and treatment plan depend on the individual assessment.

Cooling & treatment delivery
ICE Plus cooling & laser treatment comfort
ICE Plus provides continuous contact cooling. In SHR in-motion mode, the applicator moves across the treatment area while energy is delivered gradually over repeated passes.
Warmth, prickling, or sensitivity may still occur. Tell your specialist what you feel during treatment, and ask about expected reactions and aftercare. Cooling does not remove the need for an appropriate treatment plan.
What to expect at your visitFDA clearance
Soprano Titanium FDA-cleared indications
Clearance applies to specific listed uses. The applicator and operating mode matter, so a broad device claim cannot describe every treatment offered on the platform.
Read FDA K230371- Trio module · SHR mode
- The cited FDA record lists temporary hair reduction.
- Specified 755 nm & 810 nm applicators
- The record separately lists permanent reduction in hair regrowth for their HR and SHR modes.
- Facial lifting
- Facial lifting is not among the indications listed in this clearance.
Ask which applicator and mode are proposed for you. These distinctions describe the FDA record and do not imply that every listed applicator or procedure is available at Lotus.
Treatment suitability
Is Soprano Titanium suitable for your skin & hair?
The platform offers options for different skin and hair characteristics. Suitability still depends on an individual assessment, including medical history, medications, skin condition, and recent sun exposure.
Very light or low-pigment hair may respond poorly to laser. A tan, sunburn, or a recent skin treatment may also change the plan. Tell us about these before your appointment.

Alma Soprano Titanium FAQs
A consultation is the best place to talk through your skin, your goals, and anything else on your mind.
What is the Alma Soprano Titanium?
It is an Alma laser platform used at Lotus for laser hair removal. Its Trio applicator delivers three diode wavelengths, with contact cooling and treatment modes that include SHR in-motion. Suitability and the proposed treatment are discussed at consultation.
Is every Soprano Titanium applicator cleared for the same use?
No. FDA K230371 lists temporary hair reduction for the Trio module in SHR mode. It separately lists permanent reduction in hair regrowth for specified 755 nm and 810 nm applicators in HR and SHR modes. The applicator and operating mode matter; ask your provider about the exact treatment proposed.
Does the platform’s FDA clearance include facial lifting?
The FDA record cited on this page does not list facial lifting as an indication. Titanium Lifting is a separate aesthetic treatment offered at Lotus and should not be described as an FDA-cleared lifting procedure on the basis of this hair-treatment clearance.
Does contact cooling make treatment painless?
No device can guarantee the same sensation for everyone. You may feel warmth or prickling, and sensitivity can vary by area. Your specialist should explain expected sensations, listen to your feedback, and review possible treatment reactions with you.
Can I have laser treatment if I have dark skin or a tan?
Skin tone and recent sun exposure need an individual assessment. Tell your provider about tanning or sunburn before your appointment; treatment may need to be postponed. A wavelength or device name alone does not establish that treatment is appropriate that day.
Will three wavelengths work on blonde, gray, or white hair?
Laser still relies on pigment in the hair. Very light or low-pigment hair may respond poorly or be unsuitable, regardless of the number of wavelengths. Ask about electrolysis and other options at your consultation.
